Happy Sunday everyone! I will always post things I make, but not necessarily recipes all the time, mainly because it may be something I have previously made, but it might look different. Today I bring you a pink ombre rosette cake I made Tuesday for a special birthday girl. It is the first time I have made a full rosette cake and I have to say, it was a little tough. The butter cream wanted to droop a little and of course, there was the question of filling in the gaps between the rosettes. In all, it still came out cute. I sprinkled the top with light pink pearls and lightly sprinkled some disco dust on it.
Next, I made some Italian Easter cookies for a gender neutral baby shower as the reveal was a surprise. I finally learned it was easier to pipe the frosting and putting the sanding sugar in a bowl to dip into rather than smearing on the frosting and making a sprinkly mess on my counter!
Have a great day!
